![]() GySgt. Mark Conroy USMC (Ret.) Mark enlisted in the Marine Corps in October of 1970. He then served two tours of duty in Vietnam. His first tour he was a machine gunner, and his second he was the door gunner on a helicopter. He attended (Arabic linguist) school, was an interrogator - translator in Beirut and was on duty when our barracks were bombed in October, 1983. He has 6 Purple Hearts, Distinguished Flying Cross, and Bronze Star for Valor, 7 Air Medals, 3 Combat Action Ribbons, 2 Presidential Unit Citations, 10 Navy Unit Citations, and the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry w/palm, and many others.
